    So would that mean a 1-color patch is only 50% of BV?

    Judging from my experience:

    1 color = -50% to -25% BV
    2 color = -25% BV to BV
    3 color = BV to +25%
    4 color+ = +25% to +50% BV

    That's getting a little too technical... It's a nice patch, up there with one of the nicest you can hope for with Nash, and most of the Nash cards I've seen from that set have similar patches so I wouldn't value it much more than the others. If it books for $100 you can pretty much expect maybe $80 for it tops. Book value doesn't mean much anymore.

    I'm sorry, I should probably explain my numbers a bit more. Book value is probably a incorrect term to use. I really mean just value. If you started with identical cards numbered to /100 it seems from my little experience this is approximately how the numbers work out. Sorry, I wasn't trying to make it too technical. I've spent most of my time here in the football forum where it's all very technical and about dollars and cents.
