lol, guarding a 22 year old 6'3 point guard with limited playoff experience is one thing. Guarding Jordan is a whole different beast.

Nice find!
And just to add, personally, I think this whole passing and rebounding argument seems irrelevant to me. Both players style of play required a completely different skill set based from the position they played and from the era they came from. I mean, Jordan was a SHOOTING Guard, NOT a Point guard, his job was to shoot, and he was damn good at it too. As for the rebounding, last a I check, that's stat reserved for comparing big men, not a guard. And heck, I would love to see Lebron try to put of the same rebounding numbers in Jordan's era of elite rebounders like Rodman, Barkely, Shaq, Mourning, etc. It's easy get rebounds in a league full of soft big men.Last edited by jeebus86; 05-30-2011 at 02:55 AM.

The greatest overall basketball player ever was Wilt Chamberlain.
You'll never see stats like this ever...

Notice how he averaged 45.8 minutes for his whole career?Last edited by Hilfiger1975; 05-30-2011 at 02:56 AM.

hahah exactly my point. before the series with the heat Bulls fan hyped D.Rose up to be the next Jordan and now he is just "a 22 year old 6'3 point guard with limited playoff experience" and no longer the MVP of the league.
I didnt compare D.Rose to Jordan, I was making a point that Bulls fans are extremely biased towards one side and will do anything to make sure LeBron will not be mentioned as one of the greatest ever even though he already is in only his 8th season in the NBA.

Well, I'm not a Bulls fan, so I don't understand why you would use that argument against me.

I'm not gonna lie though. Lebron James is a great basketball player but he's gonna need more "stuff" under his belt before he could ever be compared to Jordan.

Lebron is not even better than this guy, yet.

Im not using any arguement specifically AGAINST you, Im just giving an example of how LeBron is not given the proper respect when it comes to being in the discussion as on of the greatest

It's not a matter of "Hating" on Lebron, Lebron is a great player, and arguably the best player in the league this year. But trying to compare him to Jordan is ridicules, insulting, disrespectful, premature, and incompetent.
