Orr, Bourque ..... and Green? Jeesh
I picked up a box of 2009-10 OPC Premiere the other day and pulled a redemption for an Orr/Bourque/Green Triple Signing /15
Green? ... really?
How did it go the day Upper Deck decided to produce this card?
Boss: Alright folks, today we really have our work cut out for us, we need a third autograph on this card. First up we have the legend that is Bobby Orr; what a great way to start things off! Next, another great Bruin beloved by many we have Mr. Raymond Bourque. Now gentlemen I don't think I need to express to you the importance of rounding off this trio. We want something that really sizzles, something to make the lucky SOB that pulls this card sh1t his pants in excitement and praise the Upper Deck gods, something to make this card a true work of art. Alright guys, who's got an idea huh?
Guy #1: Hey boss, how's about The Great One? He's a legend and would certainly fill out this card well!
Boss: Wayne? Are you kidding me? He has his name out there more than my sister in law and that's really sayin' somethin! Next!
Guy #2: Alright boss how about Stevie Y?
Boss: Stevie Y? I'll tell you why, that SOB cost me 5 large back in 93 against the Leafs ... AGAINST THE LEAFS!!! NEXT!
Guy #3: Ok boss I have it ... it's gotta be Lemieux. He's an undeniable legend, takes a great picture and always smells great.
Boss: Lemieux are you kidding me? Do you have any idea what 'Lemieux' translates to in English?? His name literally means 'The best' ! Seriously, how cocky is this guy anyways? Hell no, I ain't doin him any favors. Tell him to go start his own line of ice cream or something, I want no part of that.
The Boss' 6 yr old: Daddy daddy! Can Mike Green be on the card too???? Please daddy please!!!!
Boss: You gotter little buddy, great idea, you're gonna take after your old man someday!

I understand where you are comming from but are you seriously complaining about pulling a triple auto with Bourque and Orr on it /15?

Nice pull, but I can definitely sympathize at the same time. IMO it brings down the total value of the card. Would be much nicer no doubt with the likes of another legend, but I would personally rather have a dual with Orr and Bouque over the above one mentioned any day of the week. Interesting thought.......

I am not a Bruins fan by any means and might sound a bit "dopey" but they would have been better off leaving the third one blank. Brad Park would have better.
