What documentation is included with the game-worn jersey? If it doesn't include a letter from the Cavs or NBA & MeiGray, I'd keep the RPAs.

I would personally take the game-used jersey just because I'm into that type of stuff, and I like the actual full-size items like jerseys, shoes, headbands, etc that are game-used compared to cards...so basically you get a larger volume of game-used material than what is in a card, obviously. But you might just want to stick with your Exquisite auto/patch RCs of LBJ instead because of how hard it is to tell if jerseys are the REAL DEAL or not--especially in this case with a LeBron James game-used jersey--it'd be a big target for people to try to fake because of the demand for LBJ. If you need any help with determining the authenticity of the game-used jersey, just lmk and send me any pics if there are any and I'd be glad to help you out any that I could.

This is all hypothetical, so let's say for the sake of argument the jersey is authenticated by a reputable dealer and in fact is real, how many exquisites would equal a true game used jersey?

the 3 RC's any day
i'd take em over an authentic auto'd game used jersey
i might even take just one RC over the auto'd jersey

idk about how many Exquisites would equal a game-used jersey...i think it's all dependent upon preference...how and what do you want to display LeBron James in your sports memorabilia collection?? His Exquisite RC and a game-used jersey are both VERY high-quality items. I'd say it's all preference.

I think that's a really good question I need to ask myself. I've been collecting mostly cards that have been tucked away in the closet or under the bed for a good 5 years. I just recently purchased a home 3 years ago and they are still in the closet. I was thinking of framing or showing them off so that friends could actually see what I have in some kind of game room but am afraid of UV rays messing them up. ( I would like to have some kind of light on in my game room from time to time). I figured a game used would look nice framed or on some kind of mannequin. Thanks so much for your input as it will help me make my decision a little easier as I am new when it comes to memorabilia type stuff.
By the way, would owning a Cavaliers jersey of Lebron have less value now that he's in Miami?

Really? Are his exquisites that much more than a real game used jersey?

At the end of 2010, a game-used 'Bron rookie sold for just under $3K from Grey Flannel. Obviously, it would have went for a lot more if it were accompanied by a letter from the Cavs or NBA.

Grey Flannel is the most respected auction house and secondary authenticator in the game-used hobby.
And just for reference, since you brought up Miami, one of his Heat regular season single game-worn jerseys just sold for $10K from MeiGray/NBA.
