    Shipping on Ebay?

Hi, recently I've been asked to lower to price of my shipping on Ebay. I usually charge $5.00 to ship priority, easy zip and done.

Can I get any advice from any long-time sellers who know the tricks and trade of card shipping? What is the easiest, safest, and cheapest way to ship singles?

Well, I don't think I can give you any tricks or secrets to card shipping. I can tell you what I do and it works quite well. I ship singles in a small bubble envelope, first class mail, and sometimes with D/C. That costs right around $2. Charging $5 to ship singles will scare a lot of buyers away. Let me make clear I am not in this to make money or build an empire so when I charge 1.50 to ship singles it's just to hopefully entice a bidding war for the card itself. Good Luck!!

Depending on how much you sale, I would get a dealer ID at pittsburgh wholesale or whereever and get reduced prices on bubble mailers, and use them for nearly everything as you can ship up to 15 cards safely in average sized bubble mailers and its like under 3.00

This is exactly what I do...to be honest with you, I would never even consider on bidding on something with $5 shipping. I set my limit at $3 for something I really, really want and $2.50 for tradebait.

Thanks for the advice. How much do bubble mailers go for and where do you buy them?

Try uline. I got a 250 count box of 6x9s for something like $40. It may be too many mailers if you don't do a lot of listings though.

$5 does scare away buyers but relaying the point that it's priority is your biggest challenge. It baffles me that in a hobby where we can drop $100 easy on a box that we bump heads over shipping costs.

    Good luck

I don't do a whole lot of selling and I've cut back on trading, but I usually buy them 2/$1 at my local Dollar Tree, or packs of five for $3 at Wal-Mart or Meijer.

I'm a first time ebay seller. I have not posted any listings yet. I was wondering exactly what D.C is?
