Set Building Forum question
Hey guys, I just posted a new set that I am going to start in the Set Building Forum. I submitted the thread about 20 minutes ago, and it still isn't showing up in the normal threads with everyone's. Does a mod or admin have to approve of the thread before it's placed in the public area? I've actually never posted in the Set Building Forum before, so that's why im asking this. I'd hate for all that typing of the set list to go to waste lol.
Let me know if anyone has any knowledge. Thanks!

You have to adjust the settings for the Forum - it defaults to alphabetical order.
Set to :
"Last Post Time" - "Descending" - "From the Beginning"
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

And there's your answer lol, that sub forum is set to sort by alphabetical so it shows you the sets in order if they are titled proper. It will go year by year as long as everyone follows the guide lines set out

which is extremely important... when I was back on staff for a short time earlier in the year, I spent a good about of time updating and having members update threads to conform to this format:
ex: 2010-11 Contenders
So it was easy for anyone to see what was year/set a member was looking for... you could have multiple topics with the same heading also.

I did that too when I was on staff, it just seems like no matter how much you ask them to follow the posting guidelines, they just ignore it and do it their own way

I know what you mean. Even though im not a staff member and have never been one, I still look at people's threads to see if they followed the rules or not. It's become a pet peeve of mine lol.
