    Worlds Greatest Chase

I don't know how many have jumped on the chance to waste a quick $ on this product but I thought I would by a box at my local Meijer. Knowing that many have purchased this product without much luck on the chaser cards, I thought it would be fun to open up the wax packs that started my collecting experience 25 years ago.

I ended up with 3 Nolan Ryan's from '89 and '90 Donruss. These were highly sought after by my friends and I at the time so it was cool to see these again. I did get a 2009 Tristar Posey rookie mini which was nice.

Not buying this box again, but I never planned on doing so to begin with. This was more of a curious look down 'ol memory lane that left me satisfied after al was said and done.

Maybe in past years. This one gave you the possibility of having an unopened '52 pack that might have a Mantle inside.

Like you said in the OP, I break stuff like this from time to time just to see what happens. I remember a box like this that had the chance at pulling a pack of UD Ultimate Collection basketball from 2003 (for the chance at LeBron).

Got to love the "this box might have a pack that MIGHT contain x player". It's such a scam, but meh. I guess a good example of this is the Strasburg superfractor. At least it was finally pulled which puts to end any question that it was complete b/s.

Or how about the Razor Rookie Retro crap from the winter. Did anyone ever pull the Strasburg 1/1 superfractor auto?

Yup, the guy who pulled it created a raffle for it to raise funds for his local little league clubs, etc.
