I'm pulling for you guys
Brewers fan by birth, but I also really like Pittsburgh. Storied franchise...I hope you guys get into the playoffs again soon.
haha, define soon, still have 18 losing years...hopfully management is gonna spend the next few years...baseball still sucks though with the divide in revenue...your team is a perfect example...great young home grown talent with a few great trades and once again some will be gone soon...you guys have had a tremendous farm system...to bad baseball doesnt allow u to keep it...anyhow i am a big brewers fan this year...got 4 guys on my fantasy team and they are all doing well.

Ya, I know. Milwaukee has one of the premier power hitters in the game in Fielder, and next year he's probably going to be playing for the Yankees or the Red Sox. It just sucks. We're not going out and buying up everybody else's talent--we do it the right way. Unfortunately, then the big boys come in and buy them up. Thankfully we have Ryan Braun locked up long term. But we shouldn't have to choose between Fielder, or Greinke, Gallardo and Marcum. It's just not right.
I've loved the Pirates since I was a little kid, and was old enough to read about Roberto Clemente, and then later the Family. Pittsburgh fans deserve to have a team that is worthy of the Pirate's storied history.

we need a worthwhile owner first...cuban wanted to buy a few years ago but they wouldnt sell cause they made almost 60 million over 3 years by not spending any money...it is a shame cause they would be supported just like the penguins and steelers if they just put out a good product.
