Always is for top notch dmen.
I disagree with this...why? IDK, but I like him on our back end.

He's got major offensive upside, but is a mess in his own end at big times and ends up taking penalties because of it.

Are you talking overall or just the SCF? Cause his offensive upside is mediocre at best, its all the other things he does good that I like and he's tough, which I really like!! (o:

Then this contract makes Dennis Seidenberg's deal look like one of the best in the NHL. Happy to have him locked up for 4 more years at 3.25. I figured with all the trade talk about him most of the season the team wasn't exactly high on him, despite his +32. I think the playoffs must have changed that as he did quite well.

I don't think it was about the team not being high on him and more about which one of the top notch dmen should they keep, at the time it seemed he would be the expendable one......but yeah, the playoffs solidified the need to resign him.
And yeah, Seidenberg's contact is nice

Good signing for Vancouver - weird break down on the year-by-year salary.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
