the HS draft 6 relic is booked at $30 *1.25 so that most valuable at $67.5....however the jj/shelden books a raw $60 and w/ that duo its more valuable to me and any devil and I'm going to give it to my bor for his bday in november and it's killing me not showing him now lol

that would be 37.25 not 67.5...you dont multiple and then add with that multiplier. its just 30 times 1.25=bv
cant say I like the Duke stuff much but that Pierce is nice
btw just joshing ya since im a UNC fan :)

I've always thought that but here is my confusion how do u multiply a card that says 30 *.5 does that mean the card is only worth 15 even though the base is 30?????

i think BravesFan4Life is right, from past experience i think i have looked up cards both in the magazine then again online and came to that conclusion.

So your telling me that if a cards base is 30 and the mulitplier say *.25 *.5 that the cards even though its more rare would be worht less than the base? makes no sense to me

i don't know if i have ever seen a multiplier below 1. hmmm. do you have any examples? if you have an example from the magzine maybe we can have someone look the same card up in the OPG.
edit:
found an explanation from beckett's site:

the two main reasons for decimal multipliers
1. The parallel set is available in greater quantity than the base set
2. The parallel cards are not as desirable as the base cards (mostly occurs with RCs)Last edited by molly1984; 08-22-2008 at 12:45 PM.
