Anyways, thought I would share that I updated my Lynch collection in the "My Collection" thing on Beckett and I am 21 BV short of my collection being worth $1,000. Have any of you guys done the "My Collection" thing on Beckett? If you have done your Lynch collection, how much is it worth?

Hey guys, well it is about time for an update haha!!! I have gotten these 2 in the past week or so. Here are the pics:

The second card has a pretty cool story behind it. I was at a local card store and a guy came in to bust some boxes. He picked out 2 08 Prestige boxes and 2 08 Sage Auto Edition boxes. So he starts to bust into the first box and while he is taking off the plastic wrap, I say "if you pull any Marshawn Lynch, I will be interested in it" and he says "okay." So he starts opening packs and his second hit of the box is the Marshawn Lynch shown in the pic. So we start talking trade while he finishes up the rest of the first box and the second box. So after he gets done with the second box, he starts looking through his pile of hits and grabs the Lynch and says "call me crazy, but karma seems to have its way around this shop" and he gives me the Lynch. Needless to say, I am speechless and I thanked him. So he starts opening his first box of Sage Auto Edition and about half way through, he pulls a Darren McFadden red ink auto (apparently karma travels around the store fast haha). Sorry for the long read but I just wanted to share with you a great story. Thanks for the look!!!

As for going after the Lettermans to spell out his last name...yeah, I think those cards look great and would love to do that. However, I just have this bad feeling about jersey or letter autos. I would grab these with the intention of hanging on to them for quite a while, and I just have this feeling that those autos directly on jersey or number thread will "bleed out" and fade over time.

Now, I have no factual basis for this concern, and I do hope I'm wrong...but I just don't want to take that chance when I can get some perfectly good on-card autos and such.
