    Panini: Great for Celtics Fans...

So, I have to admit, I've been a little bummed about UD losing it's license to Panini, mostly because I love the regular fleer set, and the retro inserts. But I also look forward to buying high end singles from Ultimate and Exquiste for my Celtics collection. The only problem is, I refuse to buy a patch or memorabilia card if the material is not from a Celtics jersey, so I haven't bought any Garnett or Allen cards since they joined the Celtics.

Now the point of my post: Since Panini is new to Basketball, they'll probably have to go buy jerseys for use on memorabilia cards...and I'd assume they'll purchase Celtics jerseys for Garnett and Allen. Finally...or at least I hope.

    Fingers crossed.

Hopefully, unless they buy out UD and Topp's memorabilia.

I sure hope they buy/use all new stock.
I've griped about this same topic countless times...
No more miss-matching gu's and patches!
Makes zero sense to me and looks even worse.

    Really right, Matt.

Funnily, UD still might use wolves Jersey for KG and Grizzlies Jersey for gasol. =(

Hope to see crazy Celtics Product of Panini !

Ohh yeah, Gasol and KG are great examples...
Rashard Lewis and JR Smith seem to be the worst though.
Ray Allen sometimes and also Shaq.

Exeterjay - I have a Garnett card with a Celtic swatch in it from 0809 Bowman...not for trade, as I collect him, but it is a green swatch...maybe it's one that you can find!

    ccblec - LOL..that'd be funny!

I sure hope that they have all current team swatches...that would be a huge draw for those collectors that aren't sure whether they'll buy Panini or not!
