Injury Report...and it's three pretty big ones.

Johnny Gaudreau is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after having surgery to repair a broken finger.
Taylor Hall will miss 3-4 weeks after arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
Steven Stamkos is out indefinitely due to a lateral meniscus tear.

Accordingly, all three will be eligible for long-term injury roster exceptions.

Reminder: if you move them out, you don't get to move them back when they're healthy again.

Also ensure that your roster move keeps you salary cap compliant.

Also, something that @Sharky94 astutely pointed out to me when it comes to the scoring...

The stat lines that we see to count points is not for the player, but for the "round" as OfficePools have it laid out. So if someone swaps in and out those players for their nightly roster move, it doesn't switch the player stats, it simply counts all the stats in that slot on the roster.

For example, I just traded out Johnny Gaudreau from my team to add Alexander Radulov. That row (Round 4) still shows me having 11 points--that's how much Gaudreau accumulated before his injury. I have none of Radulov's 14 points accumulated because the trade was made today and he hasn't actually earned anything for me while on the roster.

A better example because there's a lot of activity on it. This is how @MattDMC's Round 4 looks:

He has earned 17 points for that particular round based on the last column there being the earned points for the player in that position at that time.

I'm not a fan of that layout as it is very confusing and misleading. But I hope this clears things up for anybody who has questions.

As long as team has the required number of players for each position (i.e. 12 forwards, 6 d-men, and 2 goalies) the spares can come from any position.
