Gmail specifically notes that users may not trade their invites for profit or property.

Thanks very much. But I don't know where you got that statement. You're certainly not quoting from the GMail Terms of Use. Even if it were an accurate statement, I don't see how "CardCash" would be considered tangible profit or property, but if you believe in it that strongly, I hope you've also notified the other traders who have posted similar offers. In fact, I only followed suit in posting this message (to which, by the way, I received no replies) after seeing several traders post similar messages and receive CardCash for their invites.
So in making the offer, as they did, I've got nothing but an unfounded scolding from you to show for it. Well, at least that's something. So, again: thanks.

In the Terms of Use, it says users may not "Sell, trade, resell or otherwise exploit for any unauthorized commercial purpose or transfer any Gmail account". Here, you are trading for CardCash, whether it's tangible or not, it's a transaction, also one may argue that CardCash is tangible because it may be redeemed for tangible objects.
Also, sorry for pointing you out, I didn't notice the other threads, but then they infringed upon Gmail's Terms of Use.

I don't mean to make a big deal out of this, but as you've singled me out, I felt a need to defend myself. Again, I've gained nothing from this (and you've pretty much ensured I wouldn't in the future either by responding to my thread as you have).

If you navigate around, they have a seperate page for addition program policies, where you will find that rule. I'm not trying to make this a big deal either, I'm just trying to help you out - don't want you to lose your Gmail account over something so small as 18 CC.
