could strasburg make the 2010 AS team?
he's already 2-0 with 22 Ks. he's scheduled to make 5 more starts before the AS break. i dont mean starter, but with the rosters at 35(?) each, do you think the coaches might choose him to be on the team? i say that if he doesnt get beat down in those next 5 starts, he should make it. what do you think?
his (projected) next 5 starts:
vs CWS
vs KC
@ ATL
vs mets
vs padres
good chance he can win most of those.

He's played in 2 games so far and they were against the Pirates and the Indians so imo NO way he should make the AS team.

he's got 5 more starts, if he's good in those, i say add him, even though he probaly wont pitch at all! just do something NL!!! we are 0-12 the last 12 AS games!!!!

There are plenty of other players that are deserving who have pitched the entire year. If he's 7-0 at the point with around a 2.00 era then sure he should be added but at this point he shouldn't be considered.

besides, zach duke and chad billingsley made it last year!!!
duke: 11-16 with an ERA above 4
billingsley: 12-11 with an ERA above 4

they were all stars last year with those stats showed, they werent deserving!! if they can make it, than a solid rookie year for stras should let him in.

There are plenty of pitchers this year that are deserving. I'm sorry but right now with 12 innings pitched he shouln't be considered at all.

You don't vote people to an All Star game on speculation, you vote them in on performance. Why would anyone ever be considered after 12 innings and they were against 2 subpar teams. You're right my opinion can change because by that time he will have a lot more innings under his belt but right now he doesen't.
