I think that this means Ice won't be produced in 2010-11. From the preview listing:

2010-11 Black Diamond offers up a thunderous addition to its lineup: Ice Premieres Rookies! These tremendous non-signed, non-memorabilia-based, but hugely valuable RC’s will be dropped in at a ratio of 1 per box, delivering another potentially terrific hit to a great core

They also mention "4 Ice regular cards" per box, so that should pretty much seal the deal. Interesting way to essentially release two sets under one release.

Great preview! Love the looks of the Gemography cards, so hopefully Kurri and/or Fuhr are in the release. Surprised to see Subban is /499 instead of /99 but that will be great for Subban & Montreal fans.

This is only the beginning of sets being mashed together and I applaud UD on how they included the Ice Premier Rookies with Black Diamond.

I'm disappointed that Ice won't be produced next year, it's my favorite rookie set that isn't game-used/auto...

Ice rookies are solid, true, but the rest of the product...ergh. For the most part, that is.

So there is going to be 2 different true RCs coming out of one release? Wouldn't the Ice Premieres then become inserts, not RCs, and technically lose their value all together?

I think from the sounds of it, they are going to replace the diamond RCs with the numbered Ice Premier RCs.

really? Insert rc's that are serial numbered all have initial release value. Whether they hold them or not is another question. Some inserts are just more highly desirable then others. The exception are BAP RC's, these are worthless!
