2005-06 Upper Deck Series 2 Hobby Box

    Hi All,

Went to Dave & Adam's yesterday and cracked a box of 05/06 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey.

I pulled 6 common young guns, a mike modano 2 colored jersey card, a thomas vanek rookie threads jersey, some other no name jersey card, an ovechkin victory rookie and some odd "Where's Sidney" Sidney Crosby Card that is scanned below.

I have looked all over for information on this card, and all I can find is that is was part of actual contest to win stanley cup tickets. Does anyone have any other information on this card and does it have any value? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This was a contest where you had to find the Sidney Crosby an all sorts of UD product and log/collect it and send it all in when it was complete to get prizes. This was one of the harder icons to find......

Thank you all so far who have had any input.

Gardzy99- Do you remember by any chance what these Icon cards were selling for back when this was a live contest? Do you think this one has any value?

    Details!
    http://sports.upperdeck.com/hockey/whereissidney/

Contest Ended April 26th, 2006. STILL!

That's quite a pickup and if someone found one, it was likely redeemed and not returned to them. So, You're got a <50 print run for that card. Definitely something nice for the Crosby Collector.

Hope you get something nice for it.

    Cheers,
    reoddai
