What Are Your 2011 Hobby-Related Resolutions?
For 2011, I resolve to....
- Reach 500 Carey Price cards in my collection, including adding 2 more RCs and 2 1/1s
- Get 100% of all Josh Gorges' 2010-11 cards, and add at least 2 of the outstanding other needs from my master list
- Hit the 500 trade plateau here at SCF
- Spend more effort getting TTM autos
- And most importantly, continue to grow and develop my love and enjoyment of this hobby.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I plan on continuing to to do new sports-related things with my son Austin to grow his interest in the sport of hockey.
Some of those things will include:
- Continuing our awesome in-person autograph outings, AOA: Adventuress of Austin. This has been far and away our best year to date and we have SO much fun doing it!
- Keep picking up new Anze Kopitar cards for Austin's PC
- For me personally, I'll keep working at the new Kyle Clifford PC, continuing my cross-sport, cross-branded Fans of the Game set and filling holes in the Rob Blake PC with the occasional Peter Forsberg pickup.
- There will be one more surprise involving Austin, the hobby, Panini and the SCF boards, look for an announcement soon.

I've got lots of projects on the go, and would like to complete a few. 2011 is a good year, hobby wise, for me if I can do the following:
- Knock 2 or more cards off my Ranford wantlist (9 cards, spaning 1998-2006)
- Complete at least two of the 2001-2005 UD sets I've got on the go
- Build at least one 1980s OPC set
- Grow my Oilers Autograph collection (need to start doing TTM)
- Finally sit down, and work on converting some of the autographed index cards I have (ex-Oilers, HOFers) into custom 'cut' signature cards (My lack of skill when it comes to graphic design is the real hold up here).

Mine for 2011 would be:
1. Reach 400 Different Ryan Smyth Cards
2. Reach 100 Different Alex Goligoski Cards
3. Reach 150 Trades on SCF
4. Start to build some relationships with people around the hobby.
Happy Holidays,
Daniel

I suppose my first goal would be to reach 10% completion on both my projects I currently have going. When I do, I'll reveal what they are!
My second goal will be to make enough profit to buy for an engagement ring. It would make life a lot simpler to have that extra income while having fun.
After that one, do I really need any other goals?
