To write "Do Not Bend" or to not write it?
I wanted to see what most people generally do, whether or not they write "Do Not Bend" on TTM envelopes.

On all of my sign photo requests going out, I always write "Do Not Bend" on them. If it's just requesting for signed photos, I write it on the SASE. If I'm sending the actual photo to be signed, I write it on both the outside envelope as well as the SASE.

after this poll is finished, start a new poll asking " HOW MANY PEOPLE GET DO NOT BEND RETURNS, BENT? Lots of mailmen must not pay attention to that info.

I only do write it on bigger items, such as photos or magazines, but not on cards.

I only write it on my 9x12 folders (both sides) when they contain pics. I also added to both sides of my SASEs. I pay extra for 1st Class, rigid mail. And yes, inspite of this, they will sometimes bend it!

I was reading some old posts, and apparently mailmen "punt, pass and kick" any envelopes with Do Not Bend of Fragile on it.

eh, wouldnt blame it so much on ignorant mail carriers (although some likely fall into that category). the machines that sort the mail chew the envelopes badly. plus, have you ever seen mail in a players locker (like during a tv interview)? they usually have a ton of things stuffed into a box. a bet a lot gets bend there
