Legends is the second release from Press Pass without the CLC, yet that didn't stop them from producing an eye-pleasing set. While the lack of college logos is noticable, so is the card design. The cards are not flashy or too busy, unlike a lot of what is out on the market nowadays. There is a small chase to the base set with ten short prints, one of which appears per box on average.

However, the excitement of tearing into each mini box and then the various packs is hindered. On the master box and each mini box, it states "One Sequentially Numbered Card Per Pack". This is not the case as you only get two per mini box. That's one-third of the amount you are expecting when you open the box. Big letdown!

Each master box yields 5 autographs and 1 relic on average. With a solid mix of rookies and former players, you are almost sure to receive something that will put a smile on your face. And Press Pass almost always has one huge plus over everyone else, On-Card Autos!

While some will knock the lineup of former players as not being "Legends" in the NFL, you have to remember that this is a college set. These players are inserted based on what they did at their respective schools over the span of 3-4 years. For me, I'm more wary of rookies dominating a release called Legends. But then again as I said, it's about what they did in college. It is a shame the boxes do not come with what is advertised directly on them in the case of the serial numbered cards. That, as well as the price point, will make it hard for people to shell out the money over and over. On the flip side though, how many products give you six "hits" for that price?

Once again, I'd like to thank our wonderful sponsors at Press Pass for giving us the opportunity to open and review this release. For more information on all their products, visit them today at www.presspassinc.com.

Is that Ickey Woods insert available? If so I'd be interested. Thanks.
