jaderock's contest starts here - right now!

OK Here it goes! The SAT…I mean Contest begins now!

Rules: you can not edit your post - once submitted that’s your answer, so sign up on another site and try again! Serial #1/1 cards are NOT counted in Question #1 or #3. Serial #8/8 are counted in Question #2, but NOT #3.

Hint: Patience is Key, do some searching, counting is essential and knowledge of older cards can help. Not meant to be solved quickly.

    1. How many serial numbered cards do I own that are #1? Example #001/250, #1/50, #1/1000 etc

    2. How many serial numbered cards do I own that are #8? Example #8/8, #8/25, #8/500 etc

    3. How many serial numbered cards do I own that are Last #? Example #10/10, #150/150 etc

    4. I have over 50 #1/1s, but what percentage of all “known” #1/1s (as list in Beckett OPG) do I own?

    5. Similarly, I have over 70 Printing Press Plates, but what percentage of all “known” plates (as list in Beckett OPG) do I own?

    6. Lastly, name the album & the song’s title of the music on my “Links” page.

    GOOD LUCK!
The most complete/comprehensive single player collection in the world with 95% of his Known cards & 400+ #1/1s.

This Doesn't sound stupid at all , it is a contest and just like any Contest there is some work to be put into it. I wish we had more members that were willing to give away free cards to people -who would take the time to do a little Research.

    jaderock- Thanks for the contest.

andyb582- IF you think this is Stupid don't enter, it's not like he is making you.

    1. 200 (Technically 202, you have one card listed twice..2004 Ultimate Collection Signatures #MB (#1/275)..and 1997 Playoff Absolute Silver Redemption Chicago National #163 (#1/1) ? .. you put a question mark next to it, so I don't know if you count it as a #1/1 or not. If you do then I count it towards my 200 guess)
    2. 203
    3. 206
    4. 81% (I don't have Beckett OPG, so these are complete guesses)
    5. 89% (Same as above)
    6. Swimming with the Jesus, Pray (Don't have any clue. So I'll go with what the post above me said)

This contest is basically impossible. It was probably a waste. I wouldn't expect anyone to get those all right. I spent about 2 hours doing it and I wish I hadn't, but oh well.

Good start - I just want to see how through members are.

    --------------------------------------------------------------
Just to clarify some questions that have come my way. Questions 1-5 all pertain to Mark Brunell. So cards on both my trade pages have nothing to do with the quiz/contest.

This is a quiz/contest, not a sprint so don't give up after an hour or 2 - take your time. Also that's why you're allowed up to 11 guesses (provided you're a member of all 11 sites).

Hints will come as the days go by. I appreciate those who have participated. Thanks.

I never saw anything in the "contest" description about a prize....

What is a contest w/o a prize?? Especially one so tedious....LOL

    The prize link:

On my website home page - I ended up deciding to include a #1/1 anyway

Hint #1 - on Question #1 - some cards are serial numbered to a certain # and some have a print run of to a certain #. There's a diference between those 2 cards, so be careful.
