SCF is proud to announce that we will now accept sign ups for bulk grading submissions for our Canadian members! Members must meet the following criteria in order to submit their cards for grading.

• Must not have any recent negative or neutral feedback within the last 6 months or had any disputes opened up against them that were not resolved.
• Must not have a No Buying/Selling/Trading Tag.
• Must not have a No Buying/Selling/Trading Until Profile Is Complete tag.
• Must not have a permanent Must Send First tag.

SCF does not guarantee a certain grade of your card(s). SCF is not responsible for any card(s) that get lost or damaged if you haven't chosen to get your cards insured to the submission moderator or insured from the submission moderator back to you.

How will this work?:

When there is a grading submission sign up available we will aim to fill at least 100 spots (combined Canada/US). This is done in order to get the best possible price per card. Once you post in the grading thread that you want a spot or spots and your name is added to the list, you are then obligated to follow through. You have until the close of the grading submission to change or cancel your order; after it is closed you are obligated to follow SCF Rules. Once the grading submission is closed all transactions will be placed in the trade manager, if you back out you will receive negative feedback, it will not go through the dispute process.

When do you ship your cards, and when do you pay for your submission?:

Each submission will be given a sign up deadline. If at the end of that deadline we have at least 100 cards then the moderator will OK the shipping of cards to him. At the conclusion of the sign-up period all confirmed members will have their submission requests posted in the Trade Manager. Upon confirmation, you then have 3 business days to ship as per SCF Rules to mail your cards out. If at the deadline we do not have 100 cards we may still proceed with the submission, depending on how close we are to the limit. We may also extend the deadline to garner more applicants.

At the time members ship their cards they should send their payment via Paypal only as goods (NO GIFT PAYMENTS). SCF wants members to be protected as well as the submission moderator. When sending payment please copy/paste your submission details (see below), SCF user name, and address. Your address must match your SCF address in your profile. Paypal fees apply at 2.9% of your total + $.30

How are you expected to ship your cards?:

Members are expected to send in a padded mailer. ABSOLUTELY NO PLAIN WHITE ENVELOPES (PWE'S). It is not mandatory, but members are encouraged to send with delivery confirmation so we know you sent a package out. If you are shipping a high dollar card(s) then it is recommended that you use insurance and/or tracking in case the package gets lost or damaged.

How many cards can you submit?:

You can submit as many cards as you wish – there is no limit, minimum or maximum.

Can I submit the same card as another member?:

If you are submitting a non-serial numbered card (i.e. Upper Deck Young Guns) then only one of that card will be allowed in the submission. The first member to commit to submitting a particular card will be the one to submit it. You can submit multiple copies of the same card if you so desire, so long as you're the first person to request submitting that card. If your card can be distinguished by a serial number (i.e. SP Authentic Future Watch xxx/999) then multiple submissions from multiple members will be allowed.

What is your cost?:

Price per card ($6) multiplied by the # of cards being submitted by member +
$1 per card if your card is an certified pack pulled auto (if applicable) +
Shipping to the grading company – will vary according to final insurance value of the submission. Due to cross-border rules about duty & customs fees, we will look for the least-expensive method possible while ensuring full coverage. Cost of shipping divided by the amount of cards you have in submission. +
Shipping from grading service to submission mod - (includes insurance for total BV of all cards) is total amount divided according to the number of cards you have in the submission. +
Shipping from the submission mod back to the members. Based on the amount of cards being shipped + purchasing padded mailers (Cost of mailers divided by amount of mailers = cost per mailer charged to member). Plus any additional requests by member i.e insurance or signature confirmation, will charge actual postal rates. +
Paypal fee of 2.9% of your total +$.30

The more members that sign up and the more cards we get the cheaper the cost is per member.

Currently 30ranfordfan is accepting submissions for grading with BGS - Beckett Grading Service at the 20 day level. The deadline for submissions sign up is June 21st.

Submission Details per Member:
· Detailed info of your card(s) including book value of each card.
· Total Book Value of your combined card(s).
· Return shipping insurance, yes/no.
· Return shipping signature confirmation, yes/no.

We have secured a special rate with Beckett that will allow us to get cards graded at $6 each at the 20-day service level. All autographed cards have an additional $1 surcharge.
Example of cost based on 35 cards (Canadian contribution) as was used in last submission – example only, actual costs may vary.

Previous submission I could send a small box with 4 cards with total value of $300 via XpressPost to Montreal for $17.00. If you just need regular shipping I can get two cards in a bubble mailer without insurance for $2.00
Total ~$23.48 + final shipping costs (assuming cheapest rate) of $2
+ 2.9% + $.30 for Paypal fees
