VERY important question, please help

Guys, I asked this on Beckett and nobody was ANY help at all. In the future, I will want to get some of my cards graded that I pull from packs. What is the best way to pull the cards from the packs without damaging them? Also, if there any way to put a card in a toploader sleeve without slightly damaging the corners? Especially with thick cards. Please help guys, I REALLY need some advice on these. THanks a lot.

maybe snip a little of a corner off the soft penny sleeve, that makes it easier to slide in without damaging.

Also, for regular stock cards you can get Card Savers, I think they are made by Ultra Pro or Pro Mold.

As for opening packs, if there is a good amount of room between the top of the pack and the cards you can use scissors to cut the top of the pack and the cards will slide out pretty easy.

If you are going to send them to get graded, they need to be sent in Semi Rigid Holders (Card Saver).

Hope that helps. I think there is a link on the BGS website that tells the steps to properly submit your cards, that is the same way to safely store them also.

For the toploader question, put two pieces of paper (the size of cards) in the top loader first. They will take the corner dings, but who cares? Leave the pieces of paper half out of the TL, and half in the TL. Then slip the card in between the pieces of paper.

It essentially acts like a "funnel", if you can at all picture what I'm saying.

Well guess what you have found the best trading card site on the net. There are very few questions that ever go unanswered by at liest 1 person and the regulars are always willing to help out.

btw lakersmc awsome idea, never even gave a thought to doing that.
