This is very funny to me ..... re: Press Pass/Sage
I find it very amusing how as the season wears on and the major companies start releasing their cards how everyone posts with the following message "Please no Press Pass or Sage" .........
But the minute they release Press Pass and Sage everyone is jumping at them and saying "will trade in your favor for Adrian Peterson Press Pass auto".
I understand that it's the first product released with the new faces in the game but I just don't understand how some can go from I REALLY NEED THEM to don't even offer them???????
I for one absolutely love the Press Pass series but I will wait until the hype dies down and then start buying the one's I want!
:end rant: :new_all_c

Same thing for me. The PP I collect (06 and earlier) are worth so much less than they were.
I need to go to teh store and pick me up some to sell at the super high prices.
I guess thats just how it works, nobody sid the masses in the country had to be smart.

I like Press Pass, how can they get on-card AU and Topps cant even get them?? The last few years have been very nice looking sets and this 07 set looks even better. I was at my local shop getting a few packs and mentioned I had some Press Pass coming in the mail (from enigma) and he started saying "I dont carry it, its not licsensed, blah blah blah..." Obviously, but it is licsensed by the NCAA and the players are the same!!!
the cards dont carry their value like the other brands, which is GREAT, not everyone can fork out $2000 for an Exquisite AU of Vince Young or Reggie Bush. but I could probably deal with spending $80 for a Press Pass version if I reallly wanted one

I don't really collect them much, as I'm not a big college uni-collector. But it is a nice option for people who don't want to pay hundreds or thousands of $$ for a different "higher end" piece of cardboard with an autograph.
I may actually buy a Brady Quinn Press pass auto, only because I am a pretty big ND fan, and would rather have the picture of him be in a ND uni, than some other NFL uni. Plus, a few months from now, when other products come out, his press pass auto will be dirt cheap in comparison.
