2008 Nationals Sport Collector Convetion (help needed).

A Call out for base and inserts for the 29th NATIONAL SPORTS COLLECTOR CONVENTION, Please Help if you can!!!

We will be setting up at the 29th National Sport Collector Convention and I was going to ask if traders on this board can help me with putting some grab bags together for the Show. I did the show last year and what we did was hand out fliers with superstar cards on them to promote the site. We handed out several hundred fliers and we would like to do this again with a different twist.

This year we will be setting up again with the hopes of Mike Silvia providing two laptops. With this we can do several things on top of handing out the grab bags and brochures:

1) Have them sign up for the website while they are at the show. More members mean more trading and activity on the overall board.

2) Show them the site benefits of Sportscardforum (SCF). We
can show them the inventory manager, posting of trades and feedback from start to finish, show wantlist of stuff they might be
looking for and show them members have that card right here on the site, and the list goes on and on.

Just wanted to give you a little information of how your base and superstar cards will be dispersed. So with that I would like to try to shoot for a collection of the following assortment of cards as followed below:

Chicago Bears 1250 base
Chicago Blackhawks 375 cards
Chicago Bulls 750 cards
Chicago Cubs 500 cards
Chicago White Soxs 500 cards
Racing Cards 400 cards
Base Star Cards to be thrown in each sport team bag BY SPORT:
Baseball 1000
Basketball 750
Football 1250
Hockey 750

That would mean roughly:
Baseball would have 200 team bags (1000 of chicago teams and a 1000 base stars)
Basketball would have 150 team bags (750 of chicago bulls and 750 base stars)
Football would have 250 team bags (1250 of chicago bears and 1250 base stars)
Hockey would have 75 team bags (375 of chicago blackhawks and 375 base stars)
Racing would have 40 team bags (400 racing cards assorted)

p.s. I will update the list as card are received and place them in 10 count team bags in a monster box for storage. Will try to provide photo's before and during the show. So if you can help in any way thank you ahead of time. As always hope some of you that live close to Chicago come and visit us while we are set up at the show. Always, nice to meet the members that make up the site that we spend a part of our daily routine at.
