I rated the base set as a 4.5 because on the whole, this is a very large set perfect for set collectors and prospectors. It was pretty fun hoping to hit a nice rookie/prospect autograph or find some of the harder to get refractors or printing plates inserted in the boxes. The design seems kind of typical of past years with most of the base set, although the prospect cards were a little different it was nothing eye catching. For the value, for a cheaper box, you have decent odds to pull something worth the box itself whether it be a nice auto or rookie and you never know who the next Pujols or Rodriguez will be. I would buy one of these boxes especially if I was into prospects and set building as the regular Bowman and Bowman Chrome sets are always the best to build and learn more about baseball's great future stars.
