    I think the teams are just very good these days and they could have bad days, i mean the Lakers lost twice to the Bobcats last year

    I say no - in the last decade, the longest winning streak was by the Rockets, and that was what, 22 games? Only 67% of the Lakers streak...especially with the level of competition today...I don't see how a team would be able to keep up that level of play for 40% of a season.
