I don't think so. That is simply ridiculous. No explanation needed.

I say absolutley not! In recent history, the only player who has even gotten half that many blocks has been Dwight Howard, and I believe Marcus Camby had 8 or 9 once or twice...Dwight has had 10 once or twice as well...plus, considering that there are about 80 shots taken in an NBA game, that would be nearly 25% of the shots being rejected by just one person. I don't see that ever being done!

I actually think it could. You just need a player to enter a zone and it could be repeated and beat.

I think it's possible, Dwight will one day get 15 lol so hopefully he'll break it.

As a side note, blocks have been an official stat since 1973-74. Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain allegedly had a few 20+ block games according to some, but since blocked shots were not counted when they played - and there isn't film of every seasonal game played back in the 1950s and 1960s - those numbers can't be made official.
Anyway, while shot-blocking isn't the art it once was, I voted yes on this one because many players have come close in recent years. Manute Bol blocked 15 shots on two different occasions (as did Shaquille O'Neal once), and Dikembe Mutombo once had eight blocked shots in one quarter in 2001. So, this record definitely is not out of the realm of possibility. Players like Dwight Howard have the size and athleticism to do it - it's just a matter of it happening.

Even If someone like Bill, Stilt, Kareem and 90's Elite centers appears, that record break might be impossible.
