What was he trying to do lol? I voted no cause coaches these days immediatly take out their players after 2 fouls in the 1st.

GREAT stat! For those that don't know, Coach Nelson sent in Wells to foul Dennis Rodman because Rodman couldn't even hit a toilet in the sitting position. Out of nowhere, Rodman hit almost all of his free throws during that stretch, and Dallas went on to lose to Jordan's Bulls. It was a great strategy, but Rodman stepped up big time. If Rodman would have shot his average free throw percentage, the Mavs might have won the game.

I say no - for one, one person is not going to be allowed to accumulate 6 fouls in under 3 minutes because if the team is down by enough points, they aren't going to let only one person foul the other team. Another reason is because if a situation like this happened again, and the other person (say Rodman, like in this case) was shooting well from the line, the coach would stop the fouling after the 3rd or 4th foul most likely. Plus, I just don't think 6 fouls in under 3 minutes is feasible anymore, solely because if teams are close, they wait til the last 60-90 seconds of the game to start fouling, and it would be nearly impossible to commit 6 fouls in that amount of time by a team, let alone by one person. So, my vote is no.

No shoutout? Boooooooo!!!!

I'm sure this record is safe. I don't think it's smart to use just one player to foul on people (unless it's a guy as (un)talented as Bubba Wells
) Teams are more likely to use their whole team than just one player.
