So, how do I play?
It's rather simple. We're going to run a contest that revolves around the NFL Leaders in several offensive statistical categories for the 2009 season. What your job to do is to pick who you think will be leading that statistical category at the end of the stated time frame. For every player/category you get correct, you get +1 point. At the end of the season, whoever has the most points will win! Here are the rules:

Rules:
Before the time frame begins each contestant will submit their pick set. For the major offensive positions, there are several statistical categories which you will be guessing. EVERY FOUR WEEKS OF THE NFL SEASON WE WILL FEATURE ONE OF THE MAJOR OFFENSIVE POSITIONS. You must guess ONE NFL player for each category who you feel will be leading the NFL at the end of the time frame in that particular category. All SCF members and Staff are eligible!

In the case of a tie between two or more NFL players in any statistical category, EACH player will be worth 1 point.

Just to have some things clarified....

1. Our picks for the QB portion have to be in before the start of the first game of week 1. I take it then that our picks for the subsequent portions of the contest can be made anytime before the start of the first game of that portion of the contest? Meaning, can I wait until after week 4 to make my RB picks?

2. When I make my RB guesses, I am guessing which RB leads the NFL in rushing attempts over the course of the first eight games of the season, correct? Not just the most rushing attempts during weeks 5-8, right?

3. Any minimums for stuff like average yards per reception?

4. If applicable, could an "out of position" player be the correct choice for any of the selections? If Mike Vick ends week 8 with one rush for 99 yards, is he the choice for best average yards per attempt?

Sorry, I don't mean to make this complicated.
