    Final Standings Contest (Closed for New Entries)

    Final Standings Contest


    Each participant will predict the winners in each division for the 2009 NFL season. Further, you will predict the final records for each division winner. 2 points will be awarded for predicting the correct final standings of each division winner and 1 point will be awarded for predicting each correct division winner. The final points will be tallied up at the end of the season to determine the winner. A tiebreaker round will commence in the event that there is a tie between contest participants. The tiebreaker will be each qualifying member predicting the interdivsion standings for the teams you pick as division winners. Each team plays every team in their division twice a year so there are 6 possible interdivision games for each division winner to calculate. 1 point will be awarded for every correct prediction.

    *Should there still be a tie after the 1st tiebreaker, we will have the remaining contestants, pick a total score for a 1st round playoff game to determine the winner
    This is an example of what your entry should look like:

    AFC:

    East- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)
    North- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)
    South- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)
    West- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)

    NFC:

    East- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)
    North- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)
    South- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)
    West- Division winner, regular season record (out of 16 games) and interdivision record (out of 6 games)

    The contest will begin September 10, 2009 and all predictions must be submitted by this date. The final point tally will be announced 2 days after the final regular season game is played.
