Full Story of getting 8 Big Shot Rob IP Autographs

OK. Now a days I was a bit busy and I didn't receive pictures from my helper.

And a few days ago, I rearranged those pictures and uploaded at my PB.

I will post here all of story of me and my helper's with pictures and scan include I posted last time.
(I will complete all story to post within today.)

Before I met Robert Horry, I fully considered what Pen might be appropriate to receive IP autograph, 1 week ago.
(Takes around 1 day. Because I had no experience about this.)

I went to Big Stationary Mall and bought around 10 Pens.

I sent most of them to my helpers for signing through registered mail.

I tagged each title at each thread.

If I didn't tag something, it is the same title as just above thread.

First, when I heard these players(Kareem Abdul-Jabbar(as coach), Dominique Wilkins, Tim Hardaway, Vlade Divac and Robert Horry) visiting my country, I was not happy. Because I had plan to do something at that time.

But I changed my mind. If I can't see those players in this time, how can I see them at once ?
(OF course, my focus was only for Robert Horry though)


So I contacted a few media to get info , I also googled to find more info about their arriving.


I nearly get information NBA players will arrive Airport.


But I didn't want to go to Airport.
(But as result, I had to go to Airport. But I had had no experience to meet any NBA Players so I didn't do that.)


Because I checked Schedule then I noticed there are too many from U.S.
(Actually Korea Incheon Airport is one of the largest around the world - might be around under 5th as size.)


So I didn't want to gamble.
(Below autograph was gotten at Airport. That owner said he went to Airport) => I traded Kareem Abdul Jabbar's IP autograph for this Big Shot Rob IP autograph later. So I have this now.






But I could nearly also know they will arrive certain Hetel at certain around time.
(Actually it was P.M. 7:00 - 9:00 around)


And most of people didn't know about that Schedule except Media.
(I thought it was great chance to get IP autograph. Of course, there were more opportunity to get IP autograph later but I didn't know.)


Fortunatley, I had time and that certain Hotel is only 30 minutes from my home.



And there were one helper to help me.

I sent him my Robert Horry card to receive IP autograph to protect my absence.


He called me he will be there. and I stood I would go there.


I rode Bus to arrive there when it was 6 : 10 P.M.

But when I arrive Hotel, I noticed Imisunderstood another hotel as that certain Hotel. lol


So I rushed to ride another bus to arrive Hotel.



I was hurry so I could arrive there 7:15 P.M.


And I met my helper. He said there were no NBA fans to picture or receive IP autograph. and He also said no NBA players arrived yet.



Like his comment, there were no one except my helper and Media.



We talked each other about NBA players around 20-30 minutes.

Around 7:50-8:00, one Bus arrived.

First, I didn't think Former NBA players rode that vehicle.

Rather, I thought they might ride Limo or Large Mercedes. lol



Anyway, my helper said " oh ! they are there !!! "

So I and my helper a bit run to Hotel front quickly.




WOW, first I didn't notice Crazy Tall Guy is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

But he ignored even Media then went to Elevator.





Then Robert Horry appeared !!

WOW HE was really TALL !!!

I hadn't watched any KBL(Korean Basketball League) games and hadn't gone to Stadium so I felt he was taller than his height !



I said loudly to him " Hey Big Shot Rob ! Welcome to South Korea !"

But he said "thanks" with small voice. He looks really tired.





Then body guards told us(me and helper) ,"keep out from them".

But we waited really near from him.


I tried one more time then One (might be trainer coach) person wears USA(NBA USA) t-shirt told me.
(I could notice he was Official NBA Security agent.)

"Don't ask any autograph to him(Horry). We rode Bus around 2 hours from Airport. We are really tired.".


So I told him " I'm the toppest Big Shot Rob Fan around the world. I spent too much time to meet Robert Horry.(actually it was a bit lie. lol But I had to get my First Big Shot Rob IP autograph !!) Would you mind asking only one autograph to him?"


But that Person told me "no..it can't. And can you come Hotel tommorow? We have all time tommorow. We will settle here all day long. we might watch movie near Cinema..."


But I have no time to go there tommorow(As real !) so I told him my situation again like above but he told me again, "I might not get any autograph from him"



During talking each other me and that trainer, Robert Horry talked with Media and autographed his Jersey to someone(That Media Man prepared that jersey)



* I noticed a few days Later he got "Big Shot" inscription
(He could talk with him more because he was media man.)

At least that is not "Big Shot Rob" But I was not in bad mood when I noticed that.

As soon as I saw that, I became a bit angry(because he received autograph !) and without conscious(I don't know how I could do that), so I came close to Robert Horry before going to Elevator.


But a few bodyguard stopped me !
(But Horry was not far from me)

Then fortunatley, that While men wore white official NBA shirt told to bodyguard stop to stop me.
(He is located at center of picture.)




As soon as Body Guard did to stop, I shouted to Robert Horry.


"Hey big shot rob ! I'm the craziest fan around the world ! I have thought you are the best Clutch Shooter through entire NBA history !!"

Then Horry was smiling and "Thank you !".and looks really happy. lol
(Of course, I have thought like that as real though. not lying.)



As soon as Horry smiles, I asked " Would you mind singing for me? I waited only for you"

Then that Security agent looks a bit seriously and whispered me "Just one autograph. OK?" and he whispered the same thing to Robert Horry "Please only one autograph"
(I should have asked that trainer name !! I forgot that.
Because it was my first time to get IP autograph !
and I was really excited after seeing Robert Horry as Real !!)


Might be First Big Shot Rob Official IP Autograph getting ? =)


But I didn't expect Robert Horry will sign my card so I couldn't give card to him quickly.
then my helper gave me(I already gave him my Horry card to get autograph) Gold Pen and Card quickly.


Only 1-2 second but I felt really slowmotion like.


Because I really hesitated to give card to Horry, Horry wanted to go to Elevator. lol
(Now it is kidding but I was really serious at that time.)



Horry tried to autograph then my pen was not working =(

So I hurried to make pen normal around 1-2 second.
(Really hesitate with out of mind...=()


Finally pen is working so Horry autograph "R~Horry 5".





WOW that is crazy. I have no IP autograph as inscription "5"

Furthermore it was Gold color !!

I only have a few "25" autograph and IP autograph.



After getting IP autograph, I asked Horry " Would you mind your address? I would want to send you presnt"

But Horry told with smile "That's OK. You don't have to do that. =) ".



Then Robert Horry went to his room.



It is really shinny like this =)
(I had two NP Refractors so I tried to get IP autograph at this.)

But Nique and Tim Bug haven't arrived yet.
(Vlade Divac had no plan to arrive that day. Divac would have plan to arrive my country, tommorow.)



I and my helper waited around 10 minutes.


Then Dominique Wilkins arrived at Hotel !


But I have never been Nique fan and My helper wanted to get IP autograph from him I didn't disturb Nique.


My helper can't speak English Well(even Worse mine.).

So I think he didn't think anything to tell to Nique.

He shouted "Hey Dominique Wilkins !" But Nique ignored and went to media.



Then Tim Hardaway entered ! I told to him "Welcom to South Korea !" then he was smiling and "Thank you =) "
(His face felt a bit like Kid. On contrary, Robert Horry looks a bit serious.)


My face at This picture looks like !@$!@$!%!$ but anyway Media pictured me again. lol




My helper asked Tim Hardaway to autograph.

He can't speak English well so just ask "autograph". lol But Tim Hardaway understood.

Then he autographed then my helper said "# 10, please. "

Tim Hardaway stopped 0.5-1 second but he autographed # 10.

Then I asked him "Would you mind sining if you are not inconvinience?"

Tim Bug said "Yah, Later !" But I didn't understand it meant "only a few minutes later" or "Tommorow".

Anyway he went to Media but he looks really busy and I was not a Tim Bug big fan and I didn't want to interrupt him. So I went to home.


Before going my home, I gave my helper my Robert Horry card to get IP autograph.
Because I had big plan(couldn't be changed) on September, 3th.@

It was from September, 2nd to September 6th =)

Like my above comment, I had plan so I couldn't participate this day.
(But I think I should have gone there. I fully understand why many SCF members told me Basketball is first,now. =( )


I should have gone to there. That Hotel was just 20-30 minutes from my home !!!!


And I'm not a Rich Kid but I have money to go there at least ! =(









My helper told me like this

He went to Hotel early in the morning.

Then Vlade Divac arrived. He rode Mercedes !! Not Bus. lol
(As I know he is a one of important Sports department of gorvernment of Servia.)


But there were a few people(not like yesterday) so He didn't receive IP autograph.



And he got Nique's IP autograph

Funny Episode was happended when he asked IP autograph to Nique.

He couldn't speak English so he gave Dominique Wilkins Card for Signing.

Then Wilkins get card into his pocket and went ! lol

So he did body languaged then nearly got his IP autograph.

But lost during riding subway. =(


He also told me he could nearly get Robert Horry's IP autograph but he faild.

Afternoon - Media Day

Fortunatlely, My Helper could get into Media Room.

Of course, it was only available for Mediamen.

But there were little NBA fans so one Media Guy allowed his entering.










Robert Horry said like this.



There are Tim Hardaway's and Vlade Divac's Video,too.

But I'm not fan of them so I didn't upload those.



And Vlade Divac said "It was pass when Kings matched-up Lakers - 2002 WCF. The reason why I told like that at that time, I was really unhappy Robert Horry was happy."
- unfortunatley, there are not Video about that. lol
(And for me, I have always thought and told it was Divac's Nice pass even before Divac's comment. - Sorry Kings fans.)



But I have picture about that.

After Divac's saying, Robert Horry was like that.(I heard)











And they received Korean Traditional Stuff, Korean Fan as present.

And this person is NBA Security Person wore white NBA T-Shirt above picture. He had helped and disturbed me to get IP autograph. =)

Evening - EA NBA Street Online 2 Launching


Frankly speaking, I had two helpers to get Robert Horry's IP Autograph.

One was all time helper, the other was just for this day.


Another helper told me (a week ago), He will go to Game Launching so He might be able to try to IP autograph.

I sent him Robert Horry Card(for me), Vlade Divac RC and Dominique Wilkins Card and Pens for signing for him.

But he told me it was planned Only Tim Hardaway and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's coming.



But I thought it was non-sense.

Yes, it was planned like that. But if another players don't go there, what they would do ? Just sleeping ? lol I thought all of them might go there and my assumming was right !

I heard full story Later. And my all time helper couldn't go there. Because it was Night Club.


And my helper went to there as VIP so he could get Big Shot Rob IP autograph for the first time.

And he told me he received these,too.

He told he also received Divac Autograph but gave that to his friend.

I bought and sent Silver Sharpie pen for his signing
(Because he might be able to help me.) =)

And he used that at Tim Hardaway Card.

Morning - Practice n NBA Cares for Special People.


My helper called me it might be nice to go to see these Legend Player's Practice.


As official, it was prohibitted to see their practice except Mediamen.
(It was manhattan project ? lol)

Anyway we tried to see their practice.

If we can't see their play in this time, how we can see later ?


So we arrived stadium around 9:10 A.M.


And we was waiting in front of stadium.

During wating, we checked all of gates. But all closed.


About 10-15 minutes later, Bus was coming !!!!

But Bus passed us and went more.

So we a bit run and followed bus.
Bus went more and stopped in front of backdoor.



We was ready to get IP autograph and wait.

And I was also ready to give Present for Horry.

Then he told me "Oh no ! Wilkins went already. and...THERE is HORRY !"



SO we run to Robert Horry.

I told him(I said my all time helper can't speak English), "Excuse me if~"

He didn't listen my comment all.

Before Listening all, he autographed my helper's card.
(Actually it was another my card for IP. lol)

So received like this.



And I told him again "Big Shot Rob(I told him as "Big Shot Rob" through this period.), I have present for you !"

Then Robert Horry Said " Oh Thank you !"

Then I gave him this card for IP autograph.



But he might think it was present for him and he rushed so he got this card into pocket. lol
(It is really funny now but it was not funny at that time. I was embarassed.) => Like my all time helper's episode of Nique.

SO I told him "No..Sorry that is not present"

Then he autographed like this.

But he hesitated too much so he lined a little at center of below =(




After getting IP autograph, I just try to give present, then N.B. appeared.


He told me "We have to go now." then Horry went without getting my present. =(

So I told N.B. "I have present for Robert Horry" Then he told me "I will pass that, give me,Please."

So I gave him this.


Just printed valueless stuff but back of that stuff, there were all record of Robert Horry as nice pictures.






Anyway we got IP autographs but we couldn't go into stadium.


So we walk around stadium around 30 minutes.


We tried to enter Stadium but all gates still closed.


Fortunatley, we found one gate was opened. lol

It was 3rd Floor. But we could see their practice like this.


Not my helper's - I found this picture later.



But 3rd floor was too far. It looks like spot. Not Human. =(

So we found and found then we found gate to 2nd floor.


But this time someone noticed we have seen NBA Player's practice.

That was bodyguard. He told us "Get out of here !"


So we found fault with them but we had to go out of there. =(




And we went again to backdoor again. But there were bodyguard,too.

Then one NBA people saw us and asked. "Are you NBA mania?"
(My all time helper saw him in Media Day. So he might ask about that.)

We told "Yes" as small voice. Then he told us.

He asked again "Do you have Digital Camera ?"

My all time Helper had Digital Camera.

Then he said "OK I will give you pass. But you don't have to move much. Just picturing and sitting at only Seat."


We agreed that so we could enter there.

Then N.B. appeared again.
(I told he was NBA Official Security agent)


So I told him as Homer Simpsons voice as indicating pass.
"We got the pass !!"

He looks a bit frustrated and tried to tell something but NBA People gave us pass told him "There would be no problem".



So we could enter to see official practice. =)
