What would you do?
Just wondering what would you do or what have you done in a situation like this.
Have a trade ongoing with a must send first member.
His card has arrived in great time an shape. The thing is i noticed that the return address on the envelope is not the same as in the trade manager.
Sent a Pm to him trying to get the right address but he has not been on this sight since before I sent the message.
So as I see it I have two options
Wait for a PM back to confirm address or ship to the address in the trade manager and hope it arrives.
Either way I feel i am at risk of upsetting the trader by having a longer than normal shipping time or worse yet having the card get lost in the mail.
It is not a high end card but I do value my trader rating.
Lets hear your opinions.
i have decided to wait

I don't pay attention to return addresses. If they don't update their address it's their fault, they should have their mail forwarded if they moved anyhow.

I sometimes do that...I am a teenager still, live between 2 houses, parents divorced, On this site they all go to my moms house, but on other sites, If I have a choice, I send it to where I know I will be when it should be there...I always use a return address for my moms house though

Yeah, I'd wait.
Not sure why they didn't send you their address tho when working the deal. Even if it's in the trade manager I like to have a PM with the address upon agreement, so I can print out a label, and in case of the site going down or the like....
Lots of reasons for multiple addresses like was noted - temporary job address while moving, two residences, etc...

The problem is what happens if he ships and has no proof then he out of luck in proving what address he sent too.
1) I would give them a few days.
2) If no response send out the package and keep a reciept if your in the same country. As it will show the zip code if you sent the package if you get a postal receipt.
3) If no response and it is international I would contact etmill01 and get with him so you cover yourself. As you say I hate to see anyone have there rep ruined.
p.s. Glad you brought it up as it shows you care.

I agree, wait a few days and see if the person responds. Personally, I switched addresses within the last month for Christmas Break, and now I am going back to my old address. I know previous to my move, I was putting a different return address then shipping address, just to make sure that if it was returned it would go to an address that I am at most of the time.
