Quick Questiion
with this little fab called the ebay one of one
1st numbered
last numbered
jersey numbereds
stuff like that
my question is if that is all true and "increases the value of the card"
isnt every single numbered card be considered an ebay one of one
because for example
a Corey Brewer Topps Chrome Refractor /499
i own 271/499 and im the olny person to have a 08-09 Topps Chrome refractor of corey brewer 271/499 so why dosnt that increase the value its the olny card 271/499 so whats the explanation

I used to like jersey numbered cards, but the players keep changing their numbers. I still like 1/ cards.

i hate the term ebay 1/1....its not a 1/1 unless you look at the card and see "1/1"

Will it increase the value of the card? No. Will it make the card more valuable to some people? Yes.

yeah its more of the cool/wow factor....but its a stupid reason why the value should be more...i remember seeing a card #4/5 for 20 bucks then next to it #5/5 for 70...gross

This statement is completely contradictory
.....If it makes the card more valuable to some people then it essentially increases the value of the card...Isn't that what value is based off of
So, by combing these last two posts..........Yes, having the card serial #ed to the player's jsy #, first print, or last print essentially increases its value to some people and you can possibly get more money if selling them.....Plain and simple

It is good when you pull those unique numbers. It has more trade/sell value for you. Who knows, maybe someone just looks for his birthday year in Topps Gold /2009 or Jordan 23/#, 45/#, 12/#.
However, if you do not care, it is better for you to get other number since they are cheaper.
