My first attempts...
Ok, I've been lurking around this part of the site for some time. And I gotta say some of you have inspired me!
I've designed some customs to take to the Cubs Convention this weekend... Not quite the polish of a Bigga or Rockies, but I'm pleased with them for my first attempt.
I made them using printshop, hoping to get my arms around photoshop for my next group of attempts.
Any feedback would be appreciated guys!

I like them as well. What I would have done with the Wrigley Field Writings was fade the brick a bit so that the player stands out a bit more and not seem to fade into the ivy. Also, the scoreboards are my favorites as well. With the Blyleven and Randy Wells, I'd try to find pics that dont cut off on the top. The Milt Pappas and Ryan Dempster came out perfect. The cards look great however. With those minor adjustments, they should come out better.

Actually, the way the scans on my page came out are a little different from the way my printer printed them. The Sutcliffe and Wells turned out pretty cool, their heads are actually at the top of the custom. I had a hard time finding good shots of them that I could manipulate without a lot of distortion.
I ended up getting a few of them signed...
Dempster
Wells
Pappas
Samardzija
Randy Hundley
I'll scan and post them up when I can.

Here's the link to my successes... unfortunately I spent all day Saturday in my room with the flu, and was unable to secure two I wanted badly (Dawson / Soto) but still, I can't complain about coming home with what I did.
