The Yahoo article on this says that a plea deal has been reached, but there are no details in it yet.

Hearing is scheduled for 2:30 PM EST today, and speculations are that he'll serve between 30 and 90 days in jail.

The fact that they didn't give him a sentence today pretty much solidifies that he'll spend at least some time in jail.

He pleaded guilty to carrying a gun without a license (felony). Sentence was postponed, which doesn't bode well for Gil.
