Less as they are so easily fixed by UD with a sticker.

no affect. there aren't really that many around that it'll affect value and the ones that do show up are usually snatched up by player collectors. get 1 or 2 competing and the price might actually go up a little bit but usually nothing past what the regular auto'ed card might go for.

I suppose it depends on the card. If it were someone like a Crosby/Ovechkin and the auto was missing, definitely less. If it were a lower range player, to be it might be a little more valuable just because I would take the unique error card over a $8 common auto.
Another thing I would take into consideration is if it was on card or a sticker. If for some reason the auto was supposed to be an on-card, this presents a very interesting question depending on who the player is; however, a sticker autographed card with no autograph would be no different than peeling the sticker off.

I had a chance to get a Schenn Autofacts without the auto, and I thought to myself, "that it would be a cool item to have". I didn't get it and I kind of regret it.
I guess it depends on the collector. Some collectors would be willing to pay a premium and others couldn't care less.

I'd be interested in any variations on a Ranford card..... but it's going to depend on the price. I wouldn't pay much of a premium.... and would expect to pay much less if it were a "premium" card.

This is addressed to the 4 people (as of Saturday at 12:30am PST) who think these cards should be worth more... I have a BAP card of Niklas Sundstrom that has the certificate printed on the back, but no auto on the front. It's an eBay 1 of 1... Let's start the bidding at $1,000. A must have for any Sundstrom collector!
