2010 Racing Team Challenge Standings & Results

This thread will be used to keep track of the results from each race, the segment standings, and the overall standings for this year's Racing Team Challenge.

NEW for 2010! Weekly Pole Bonus. The top qualifying team for each race will receive a 1 point bonus that will be awarded to their overall standing. In the event of a tie for the pole, it will come down to when the entry posts were last edited for all that are involved.

NEW for 2010! After the first 26 points races of the season, the overall field will go into a Chase format. The top 12 participants will be the only ones eligible for the overall prize. Everyone else is welcome to continue to participate though as there are still prizes that can be won by those not in the Chase.

CHASE FORMAT EXPLAINED: The top 12 after the first 26 points races will be reset based on the number of wins in those first 26 races. A minimum of 500 point bonus will be added to the participant in 12th to separate them from 13th. This way the 13th place team has no chance of making it into the top 12 within the final 10 points races. From there, the overall standing will be adjusted so that those with the same number of wins will all be tied with each other. Each win earned will get you a 2.5 point bonus on top of the 500. For example, for everyone that has 0 wins they will be at whatever the 500 point bonus 12th has (provided 12th doesn‘t have a win), and for those with 1 win will be 2.5 points ahead of those.
