because beckett is messed ...
Stamkos - doing MUCH better since his cards went down about half way through last season, they havent moved despite recent sales
It might be because the Price rookies are still selling at the same range as his rookie season

I wouldn't say he is doing that bad if you check his stats. It just seems like he is doing bad now because halak has came into the picture. Plus the team playing like garbage

what is this "value" you speak of? oh book value? as in doesn't really matter.
Carey Price's sell value has been pretty stable. Slight dip but those hab's fans will continue to buy buy buyer beware

Few of his cards have lost any value because we crazies are still snapping them up like candy. I've been a little surprised to see how well some of the cards are selling given that he's not setting the world on fire this year, but not that they're still doing well. As long as he's in Montreal he will remain one of the top two or three collectible goalies in the hobby thanks to folks like myself, Shane, smtevo, and a several thousand others.
That said, values have dropped since the end of Carey's rookie year. The SP Authentic, SPx, and Black Diamond RCs have all seen a pretty substantial decrease in price and thus values, but many of the high-enders are still going at a very strong clip.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

1. They don't play for the Montreal Canadiens.
2. They don't play on any Canadian team.
3. Goalies tend to get a ton of love.
4. Kane isn't Canadian.

.915 and 2.69.... that's not a bad year. He is the future in net for Montreal. But he will keep his value only if he stays in Montreal... outside Montreal you need to be a Patrick Roy or Martin Brodeur to get a decent hobby demand.

Exactement. Stick anyone you want on the Habs or Leafs, and if they were a nobody before, they will have collectors pretty quick. I'm a prime example, as if the leafs pick up a new player, i'll start collecting his cards
