    Tlusty /99

Is a Jiri Tlusty the cup /99 (2 clr) worth it for around 100 bucks? Give me your thoughts. Thanks!

That's a tough one. I'm not surprised that's the asking price..... it's a Cup Auto / Patch RC /99 copies.... so I'd think some people would automatically want at least $100 for it.

That being said, it's Jiri Tlusty. The guy has the potential to become a 20 goal scorer once he doesn't get an NHL contract, and goes back to Europe.

I know I wouldn't pay anywhere close to that for any card of Tlusty - But I'm also not a Leafs fan, or a Tlusty fan.

Would Pogge for $100 be fair?

    ^^^^^^^^

my sentiments exactly. /99 or not, A Tlusty Cup RC isn't worth that much on the secondary market. I'd bet someone could pick one up on Ebay for less than $50.

on the other hand, if that's your guy and you want that card, then I don't think anyone here would fault you for shelling out the dough for the best possible RC of him.

Gotta agree with the others. Tlusty to me is not going to amount to much as an NHLer so I would think less than $100

Thank for the advice. I was thinking the same. Instead I might just save twice that amount and get a Vanek or even a Carter or a Getzalf cup rookie.

But Jiri is going to light it up now that he's in Carolina! wait, that should half the price right there..

i collect Tlusty, and honestly it aint easy to get a Tlusty The Cup much cheaper then that, even though most of his cards go cheap on the bay, his Cup ones manage to flourish everytime. On auction you might pull one for 80$ ballpark

him and stralman, both their 1/1 cup plates still go insanely high too

and two of them generally sell close on same prices on ebay

weird market for Tlusty though seeing he hasent done anything in the NHL yet

All white Pogge Cup RCs /99 go for between $40-$60 and 2-colours go for between $60-$100.

Id say $100 for a Tlusty is a little much.

May seem like it, but I always watch the Tlusty Cup RCs on the bay, hoping one will be cheap enough so i can snag it, but i still don't have one

Theres a gold version on there now, just put it in your ebay watching and see how high it goes (even though the gold dont go as high as the regular)
