Most Annoying Player Combo's

I don't mind so much so long as the pairings make at least SOME sense. Someone on here pulled a winning trios of Getzlaf/Ward/Schenn....???

I was going to mention this card. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Some pairings I can see though. Lidstrom and Salming...both great Swedish defensemen. Makes sense.

one i dont like (that i still want for Earl PC) is the Earl/Zubov/Giroux opc triple materials, giroux i dont mind but why bother puttin Ilya Zubov on it? seems a waste of space

How about Yzerman and 2 Staals....????? I like when they have players of different teams though...I wind up getting players I wouldnt normally collect!

nah see i'd rather a nice combo with all Leafs players, other players on the card kinda stand out from my Blue colored PC lol

I second the Lucic, Price, Kariya combo. I also saw a Neely, Messier and Hossa combo....what the heck do they have in common?

Why can't UD just do a Neely/Lucic combo already?!?!?

My least favourite is when they always pair thornton with cheechoo, its eben worse now that he isnt a shark anymore. He was good in 05-06 then he faded and they still had thornton/cheechoo combos in 08-09. Upper deck really likes using the same combos

not sure of ward but the other two are born in regina saskatchewan so if ward is maybe thats the connection?????? as for me i also dont mind if they make sense, i got a trios patch of crosby/nash/toews??? canadian centers???

The worst thing I find is when a nice patch card is ruined when it's teamed up with another patch from a non-NHL game used jersey. Like this one where the Perrault patch is sweet but the Lanny McDonald looks to be from some NHL old timers event game jersey ...

lol... go sharks! i agree with you... i can't stand to see a sharks player with a kings player... or with a redwing... or with a duck... or even a coyote. i will only buy combo autographs when both/all players are pictured as sharks.

What I hate is seeing Kings put on a card with Ducks or even worse....the Sharks. I HATE the sharks and it kills me to see a King paired with one of them.

Bust Salming did play for the wings even though they show him commonly as a Leaf.
My Irk is with the huge draft class of 02/03. I try to get Zetty cards and he's paired up with Nash or Spezza and the BV goes through the roof.
