I do unless I know the BV of a card is totally dumb. just ask for more Bv on the regular and if they decline don't trade it

From my own experience, the die-cuts I pulled DID sell for more than the horizontal variations I put up.
Despite how popular it is to bash beckett, sometimes collectors themselves aren't that logical in what they choose to value.
My opinion is that the die-cut set is a traditionally collected subset from Black Diamond and much more recognizable than the new horizontal variations. Despite their lower insert rate, the variations may not catch on and be valued like the die-cuts.

I know I've picked up both versions of the Ovechkin and I had my bid twice as high on the regular horizontal since I read the box odds and I got it cheaper than the diecut, I think one of the problem's is that most ppl (due to previous products) belief that they are harder to come by

it doesnt make sense, ud should have made the diecut version harder to get, seems more logical...the reason for the differences=beckett is stupid. the bd premier cuts from last year are a perfect example, really overpriced.

If you truly believe this is a mistake it time to get into the market and collect the harder version.

Why do people keep buying Beckett and thinking it is the bible for pricing?
Where is SCF's price guide already? ;)

sounds like a broken record but hey, its beckett, always remember monkeys and a dartboard :)
but in a logical sense, upper deck should have made the die cuts more of a chase cards then the regular ones, just makes sense
and jagrnyr, those premier cuts were way over priced for sure, i always stated trading those at half BV's
i mean like Peter Mueller SINGLE diamond books 40$, u can Buy It Now off ebay for 1$ lol as i did when they first came out thought i was getting a steal but of course i now know i really didnt
