Sending in Lebron Exquisite RC to Verify Authenticity ?

So I want to authenticate my Lebron Exquisite RC for future protection if I even decide to sell it(not unless I'm on my death bed and need the $$$). My dillema is if I send it in to say BGS and it gets graded a 9 and not a 9.5 just to encase it and protect myself, did I just loose value ? Or did I do the smart thing and Verify it's authenticity ?
Here is the card and yes it is real not a hoax to get people to respond to my post. I also did not pay the $ 12,500 on ebay as that buyer wanted a different one and mnmiracle sold me it for a much lower cash/card deal. Thanks for the help guys.

I think you should if your sure it's a 9 or 9.5. 9s don't really bring down the price from what I've seen, they keep the price pretty much the same. If your sure it will be a 9 or 9.5 then yes, do it.

It would eat at me until I had it graded. You'll always wonder what the grade would be. If you don't like the grade, just send it back in for authenticity only and get it reslabbed.

Most exquisites grade 8.5. I wouldn't want to have a card as nice as that being graded an 8.5

I wouldn't grade it......exquisite is a condition sensitive set and usually don't grade well......if you really want it to just be slabbed for protection, don't get it graded and just have it slabbed as "authentic"

well i think i might do 1 of 2 things now. 1. send it in to ONLY be authenticated, or just put him in the safety deposit box. thanks for all the help.
