For future 2nd round picks? I would think they could've gotten more for Kareem.

I agree, Lakers could have gotten much more. I like Rush a lot, has a beautiful stroke from the outside. Great perimeter player and was starting to come into his own. Should help out the Bobcats a lot and it's good for Rush, will give him an opportunity to score and perhaps start.

Yeah. I'm happy for Kareem. I hope he gets more playing time with the Bobcats. He's a class guy.

3 years, and here's what I've seen from watching almost every Lakers game:

    1. Rush doesn't know how to play defense. He hasn't improved one bit.
You don't need to be as good a defensive player as Kobe, but you've still got to give the effort, know how to block out, know how to take charges, etc.

    2. He's got a beautiful stroke, but he's very inconsistent, and when you miss, it's UGLY.
Yes, Kareem needs playing time ... and he wasn't going to get it with the Lakers --- now let's see what happens when he's with the Bobcats. My guess is he's just your typical average NBA player. Makes lots of money; does just enough to survive as long as possible.

No defense and inconsistent shooter means you're out of the league by the time you're 30, if you get that far
