Well, news came out that Karl Malone won't come back to the Lakers, having been miffed that Kobe stated on the local radio station that he didn't think Karl was coming back; and that it wasn't fair for the Lakers to keep waiting without knowing whether or not Karl was coming back.

Perhaps Kobe ought to concentrate on his perimeter shooting - as it plain sucks!
