    I think thats comparing apples to oranges. A UFC fighter fights maybe 3 or 4x a year. NBA players play 82 games + preseason and playoffs. How many UFC events are in a year? 20 maybe. No kidding there's gonna be more millionaires in the NBA.

    other sports you can have a "bad game" or two and theres not much of a consequence. In the UFC if you lose twice in a row you may find yourself looking for a deal with strikeforce or some other lower-end MMA promoter or collecting unemployment.
    I think fighters should be paid more to train for 3-6 months for one culminating event that lasts for less time than any other sport out there. Besides, its the most entertaining sport period.
