    Hobby vs Retail release dates

    Hi,

    I'm excited about the Upper Deck Series 2 releasing in early Feb. I had a question about release dates.

    The hobby boxes are set to release on Feb 9th, but I am really only interested in collecting the base set and young gun cards so I generally have been buying the retail boxes of previous years.

    Do the retail boxes and hobby boxes generally release on the same date or do the hobby boxes come first?

    Usually retail is about a week or so behind.

    I might have to buy a box of hobby since I'm so excited, then wait for a week or two to purchase a few more boxes of retail.
