x-box has red ring
was in my dorm and moved my x-box from our living room tv to my room tv and i turned it on and it has the red thing? anyone know why?

is it one red ring or 2 or 3? if its 1 and you turn it on and it shows a black screen with a warning notice and at the bottom like E-74 or something than just try turning it back again, it's happened to me about 5 or 6 times, but what also happened back in october i got 3 rings and sent it to microsoft which only took 2 weeks, they have a Red Rings 3-year warranty

FWIW, Microsoft is pretty simple to deal with on this, as long as you're under warranty. They'll send you a shipping label and you just have to mail your Xbox to them, wait a couple weeks, and you'll have it back. Although I have heard stories of people getting theirs back and having to re-send them AGAIN.

At least microsoft is recognizing their RROD problem. Sony is refusing to acknowledge thier's, it's called the YLOD (Yellow Light of Death). I have it and it sucks.
