    amare stoudamire all star???

shouldnt amare stoudamire be a power forward on the all star ballets? i think he should. i know he plays center for the suns but he should still be a power forward on the all star team.

He should be PF. However, if he is in PF, I'm not sure he can be voted into starter. Putting Amare in Center is like giving him free spot since no other big name in the center position.

He's a natural PF, but he plays center - therefore, he gets voted in as a center...same could be said for Al Jefferson, as he's a natural PF, but plays center, so that's what he's listed as on the all-star ballot.

i kinda feel like its not fair for the other centers in the west. the centers that arent quit as good as amare but are natural centers.

I think the same. They just give Amare a free pass to be starter. They should move Duncan to be Center over Amare.

yeah i see what your saying but what about the cavs when they play a small lineup lebron plays pf. i thinks its kinda a copout by the nba since there wasnt any real good centers in the west the last couple years. but now i think with bynum and kaman they can go ahead and move stoudamire back to pf

But Amare starts at center...Lebron rarely plays PF...Amare almost always plays center...it's really a technicality, but I do see what you are saying.

I believe it is all determined by which position they've played at the most, in terms of total minutes, and whatever that position is, then that is what they are listed as...basically the majority of minutes of which position they play determines their primary position.
