    Calling on Calgary

    I will be making a trip to Calgary for a week....end of Feb

    Any good shops out there?

    Unfortunately I will not be able to see a game (no home games while I am there) but would like to see a couple card shops and maybe a Hockey Life store...

    Any help is appreciated!

    Ahh calgary. I was there for a hockey tourney once ( about 5-6? years ago). I loved it. Have fun. Can't help you with the card shops but LMK what you think of the town. I've considered going to the U of Calgary (even though I'm 99% sure I'm going to UBC in Vancouver).

    LOL Don - Its for real work....but always have to squeeze some pack busting time in each trip!!! ;)

    Unfortunately I have to work overnight mon-fri so I only have the weekend for free time....

    Maple Leaf Sports
    1043 40th Ave NW

    And I would imagine there are a few more, just look in the phonebook. I have never been to Maple Leaf Sports but have a friend who goes there on a regular basis and has never complained about it.

    Enjoy your time in Calgary, an excellent City. If there is no NHL game you might be able to take a Calgary Hitmen Jr game in.

    THANKS!!!! I checked it out and totally forgot Kings have Kozun and Jones playing there - AWESOME!!!!

    Looks like they are both doing very well on the team - Kozun #1 scorer (74pts in 42 games) and Jones 20-9 in 30 games with 3 SO......

    Tickets are nice price too.....and they play Saturday Feb 27th - Nice!!

    Chris if you are able to go to a Hitmen game, grab me autos of Jones and Kozun if possible. Those kids have some great potential and could be great assets to the team one day
